Upcoming Meetings


Our monthly membership meetings are usually held the third Sunday of the month in the auditorium at Rock Springs Environmental Center, 3939 Nearing Lane, off Brozio Lane southwest of Decatur, Illinois. We meet at 2:00 p.m. for a bird study session, then the regular meeting and program take place at 2:30 p.m. During the summer months, we usually meet in a local park or natural area at 4:30 p.m. on the third Sunday for a potluck meal and a hike. In May our membership meeting is on a Saturday at 8:00 a.m. when we meet for an outdoor potluck breakfast, followed by installation of new officers and then a hike. Guests are welcome to attend bird study sessions, meetings, picnics, hikes and other events.

Board meetings are usually held the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at Rock Springs Center. Members are welcome to attend Board meetings.
